He is an Educationist Kenyan citizen with a BA. Education from Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology [MMUST], and undertaking Masters in Educational Planning and Management. He has majored in African History, World Religion and Inclusive Education. He has a deep interest in information and technology, part of his programme in going about his profession and the society in general. Elsam is enthusiastic about entrepreneurship, and Human Rights Advocacy. He is a Socio-Political Strategist and a Management and Leadership Consultant.

Elsam has participated in various leadership levels such as taking leading role in a Pan African programme Masinde Muliro University Peace Unit Programme [PUP MMUST Chapter] and a member of Peace Ambassadors Kenya [PAK], which ensured peaceful coexistence within the MMUST fraternity and the local community members. He is the founder of Elsvineyard Products Kenya, a company that deals in processing farm produce to add value to the health of consumers and to boost the economy of the community.

Being an educationist, he believes in the development of new knowledge and skills that can be channeled in the development of a society. He focusses on reeducation and empowerment policies by identifying and improving the existing ideas to realize a sustainable life among the youths incorporating different skills and capabilities.
