Doreen is a senior clerical officer at the county government of Nairobi, Kenya. She holds a bachelor’s degree in criminology and criminal justice attained from Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology, Kakamega, as well as a diploma in Human Resource Management at the Kenya Institute of Management in Nairobi. She is currently pursuing her Masters at The Liverpool John Moores University in Criminology and Social Policy.
She is a business owner, having ventured into the beauty industry and is working towards opening other branches in the country and outside in the long run to provide employment for the youth as well as grow professionally in alm aspects.
Bonareri is very enthusiastic about human rights and environmental conservation. She has, in the recent years been, involved in a series of community service activities with colleagues as well as friends, she is also actively involved in environmental conservation through tree planting activities, sensitization of the society especially those in affected and effected areas and conducting cleanup of the Nairobi River.
She started her social welfare activities in high-school which carried on to campus where she was a member of Peace Ambassadors Kenya [PAK], holding peaceful demonstrations especially during elections and participating in medical camps in rural areas targeting curbing the spread of jiggers.
She is a team player as well as a good challenger of growth with mental and physical health.
