The African Caribbean Pacific Diaspora Youth Support Services Kenya (ACP DYSS – Kenya) is a Not-for-Profit non-governmental organization registered on the 25th March, 2024 under the Non-Governmental Organizations Co-ordination Act of 1990 of the National Constitution of The Republic of Kenya. It includes the membership of the youth from the African, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) group of countries from the grassroot and the diaspora. The Organization was first registered under the Flemish Federation of Social Organizations (Federatie van Zelf Organizaties in Vlaanderen) in 2016 in Belgium.
The vision of ACP DYSS Kenya is to be the conduit and development catalyst of Diaspora and Grassroot youth from Kenya. ACP DYSS Kenya is intent on building a Diaspora youth community who are professional experts, effectively working together with Grassroot youth and youth organisations towards achieving collective self-realization of Kenyans and Africans as a whole; and ensure sustainable development.
Our mission is to engage Kenyan Diaspora and Grassroot youth in the development of Kenya and ACP countries through re-education and working together to restore and showcase the Pan African dignity and ensure collective self-dependency. ACP DYSS Kenya aims to work with Diaspora and Grassroot youth community development organizations to foster sustainable development in Kenya. In its development strategy, ACP DYSS Kenya aligns itself with the development policy of the target region in Kenya.
In a nutshell, the objectives of ACP DYSS Kenya focus on three pillars namely: Re-Education, Working Together and Collective Self-Realization, which would be carried out sequentially.
